City appoints Sheila Gurrie to City Clerk position

The City of Nanaimo is pleased to announce Ms. Sheila Gurrie has been appointed as City Clerk. Having been in an acting capacity since earlier this year, she brings valuable experience to this position.

Ms. Gurrie has played a key role in revitalizing and restructuring the City's Select Committees. In addition, she has previous experience serving as Chief Election Officer.

She moves from acting to official capacity on June 15.
