Business Licence Amendment Bylaw 2026 No. 7318.03

Business Licence Amendment Bylaw 2026 No. 7318.03 received first three readings at the Regular Meeting of Council on February 2, 2026.  The proposed amendment, if adopted, updates sections pertaining to mobile food vending regulations and processes in addition to other minor housekeeping amendments.

The proposed bylaw amendment is scheduled to proceed to Council for adoption at its Regular Meeting on Monday, February 23 at 7:00 pm in the Shaw Auditorium of the Vancouver Island Conference Centre, 80 Commercial Street.  Delegations requesting permission to speak to Business Licence Amendment Bylaw 2026 No. 7318.03 are requested to submit a written notification to the Legislative Services Department prior to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026.  Applications to appear as a delegation are available at the Legislative Services Department or online at nanaimo.ca/your-government/city-council/council-meetings/appearing-as-a-delegation

The proposed bylaw is available for viewing at the Service and Resource Centre, 411 Dunsmuir Street or via the City’s website at www.nanaimo.ca.
