Bylaw Ticket Dispute Form Submission

Thank you for your dispute submission. These submissions are monitored daily and your dispute will be processed in the order it was received. If you provided a proper email address, you will also receive a confirmation email.

IMPORTANT: please check to ensure you have received a confirmation email, including by checking your spam folder. If you have not received an email within 1 hour of your online submission, please either email us directly at adjudication@nanaimo.ca or file your dispute in person during business hours at 411 Dunsmuir Street.

Be sure you included the reason for your dispute, your ticket number and all evidence you have. Should the ticket stand as issued, you will receive the 14 days discount again or you will have a chance to take it further to a hearing (learn more). In most cases, you will be notified of the decision in writing. Only disputes received within 14 days of the ticket issue date will be processed.

You can attach files to help explain the barrier you faced in the form, like: a video, voice recording or photos. If American Sign Language (ASL) is the best way for you to communicate, upload a video of yourself using ASL into the form.

Please include: what you were trying to access, where the barrier happened, what the barrier was and any recommendations you might have.
