City of Nanaimo call for applications to Design Advisory Panel

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is currently recruiting four volunteer at-large members for the Design Advisory Panel.

The Design Advisory Panel considers development permits in relation to guidelines, principles and conformance with the Official Community Plan and reports their findings and opinions to Council. The panel provides independent, objective recommendations to the applicant, City staff and Council aimed at improving matters of design that affect the public realm.

Applications can be downloaded from www.nanaimo.ca or picked up from Legislative Services in City Hall (455 Wallace Street) and will be accepted from Monday, February 4 until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019. Interested applicants are encouraged to review the Design Advisory Panel meeting schedule, mandate and terms of reference on the City website prior to applying.
