Application Description: |
To rezone the subject area from Single Dwelling Residential (R1) to Row House Residential (R7) in order to allow for two row houses at 5709 Oceanview Terrace and two row houses on part of 5620 Hammond Bay Road. On September 5, 2013 Council did not approve the rezoning at 3rd reading. Following 3rd reading Council, then directed staff to prepare a report clarifying access issues related to the proposed rezoning. On November 18th Council directed Staff to secure the required road improvements as a condition of rezoning and return the application and the associated zoning amendment bylaw to public hearing. The application returned to the Dec 5th public hearing and received 3rd reading on the same date, on December 16th the rezoning amendment was adopted. |
