INTEGRATED ACTION PLAN

The Integrated Action Plan (IAP) lists the "library of actions" the City of Nanaimo is already doing, and would like to do, over the immediate and long term to implement the policies in City Plan: Nanaimo ReImagined. The IAP serves as a guiding document for Council to consider resource allocation through annual budgeting. It is regularly referenced and reviewed by many City departments to guide their work. The IAP is updated on an ongoing basis. Overall, the IAP supports the City's commitment to integration and interdepartmental communication, with the goal of leveraging opportunity, investing efficiently, and maximizing community benefit through City actions.

COUNCIL PRIORITY ACTIONS

Council's Priority Actions, which form part of the IAP, reflect the top actions prioritized by Council to be implemented. A progress report of the Priority Actions is presented to Council each fall. See below for past Priority Action progress reports: 

NEIGHBOURHOOD ASSOCIATION PRIORITY REQUESTS

City Plan encourages engagement with neighbourhood associations, and specifically Council hosting an annual engagement opportunity to hear the collective priority requests of neighbourhoods. The neighbourhood association priority requests and progress reports can be found on the City's Neighbourhood Association webpage.

Give feedback on accessibility. Submit your feedback through our online accessibility feedback form. Help us understand barriers people face when accessing City services.

You can attach files to help explain the barrier you faced in the form, like: a video, voice recording or photos. If American Sign Language (ASL) is the best way for you to communicate, upload a video of yourself using ASL into the form.

Please include: what you were trying to access, where the barrier happened, what the barrier was and any recommendations you might have.
