      Get ready, Nanaimo! For the first time in six years, the legendary Canadian Forces Snowbirds are soaring back into town for a jaw-dropping weekend of aerial magic over the stunning Nanaimo Harbour. Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or just looking for an unforgettable summer outing, this is the event of the season!

      To Keep Everyone Safe and Ensure the Best Experience

      • Maffeo Sutton Park’s walking and fishing pier will close at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 15 and reopen after the show on Saturday, August 16 at 5:30 PM.
      • Harbour waters and airspace will be restricted during showtimes.
      • Plan ahead for parking and transit and consider arriving early to grab your spot.

With the downtown waterfront as your backdrop and the Snowbirds painting the sky, this is more than just a show—it’s a celebration of community, courage, and Canadian excellence. Presented by the City of Nanaimo in partnership with the Nanaimo Airport, Port of Nanaimo and the Nanaimo District Hospital Foundation (NDHF).
