Linley Valley West Project

Project Overview

Linley Valley West is a new neighbourhood currently being developed between Rutherford Road and Linley Valley / Cottle Lake Park.

Due to recent changes to land use, parks and the future road network, a new multimodal access plan is required for this growing neighbourhood. With these changes, an important consideration will be access between the Linley Valley West neighbourhood and Rutherford Road to accommodate vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.

Two access options are being considered:

  1. A new road linking Linley Valley Drive and Rutheford Road at Nelson Road.
  2. Utilizing existing neighbourhood streets to link to Rutherford Road at Vanderneuk Road and Brookwood Drive.
