PVNH, or Periventricular Nodular Heterotopia, is a malformation of the brain's cortical development characterized by abnormal clumping of grey matter (nerve cells) around the deep fluid chambers inside the brain called ventricles. It's a developmental brain disorder often associated with epilepsy and seizures. .
