Rates and charges for 2019
Rates and charges bylaws for sanitary sewer, water and solid waste collection passed three readings with an increase in 2019 to sewer fees by $5.20, water fees of 7.5% ($38.52 for the average family), south west bulk water rate by $0.28/1,000 gallons and solid waste collection by $5.00.

Development around Nanaimo
A development variance permit was issued for 406 Harwell Road. 

Housing agreement  bylaws for 20 Prideaux Street, 285 Rosehill Street and 10 Buttertubs Drive passed three readings.
