The Extreme Weather Shelter run by the First Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo will receive $45,000 from the City for their operations for the upcoming cold weather season.

The bylaw to give property tax exemptions estimated at $1,258,918 to eligible organizations in 2018 passed three readings.
