Working the 2022 Election

The City of Nanaimo is seeking election workers for the 2022 Municipal Election.  A list of the required positions can be found below.

Applicants must be: 

  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Available to attend a training session scheduled between September 13th and 29th, 2022
  • Available to work extended hours on Election Day - Saturday, October 15, 2022 

Payment for these positions ranges from $280 - $305 for Election Day, and $25 for training. A limited number of positions are also needed for advanced poll days (October 5 & 12, 2022).

Application forms will be received until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
