Notice of Motion
A recommendation will be going to Council to approve the Notice of Motion Policy, which outlines the steps for members of Council to take prior to introducing a notice of motion at a meeting.

Additional Committees
A recommendation will be going to Council to dissolve the Nanaimo Youth Advisory Council, whose last meeting was held October 2018.

A terms of reference for an Advisory Committee on Accessibility and Inclusiveness was referred back to Staff for further input, information and consultation.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue/Emergency Medical Response
A recommendation will be going to Council for Staff to prepare a report on transitioning pre-hospital care up to Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).

  • Arts and Culture will be the subject of an upcoming Governance and Priorities Committee meeting.
  • A recommendation will be going to Council to invite the Boathouse and Paddling Centre to make a presentation during a future Council meeting.
  • A recommendation will be going to Council to invite the Director of Community Health to make a presentation during a future Council meeting.
