Strategic Plan updates
The latest draft of the Strategic Plan was discussed and the following changes requested:

  • Under Environmental Responsibility, include mention of working with the Regional District of Nanaimo to develop food security for the region
  • Under Economic Health, include mention of advocating for a fast ferry service or other forms of transportation improvements for connectivity
  • Under Governance Excellence, include mention of advocating for the Provincial and Federal governments to take responsibility for mental health, affordable housing and social disorder issues
