Job Summary

The City of Nanaimo is seeking a temporary full-time Serviceperson – Night Patrol.  This position is responsible for investigating, determining appropriate action and resolving customer service requests during non-regular working hours.

Applicants must have completed Grade 12 and have an Environmental Operator’s Certification Program (EOCP) Operator in Training (OIT) designation.  Three month’s experience in general Public Works maintenance work is required in addition to a Class 3 driver’s licence.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a unionized position.  $29.34 - $30.88 per hour (Jan 2018 Rate) based on a 40 hour work week.  Shift work is involved in this position.  It is anticipated that this term will be up to 6 months in duration.
