Manager, Treasury and Enterprise Risk Management

The City of Nanaimo is seeking a permanent full-time Manager, Treasury and Enterprise Risk Management. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for the City’s corporate liquidity, investments and enterprise risk management.

Applicants must have a university degree in Business Administration and completion of a recognized Treasury Designation, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). A minimum of 5 years’ related experience in a variety of treasury or financial management and/or risk management practices, including preparation of complex financial analysis is required and 3 years’ experience in a management supervisory role in municipal government or equivalent public sector entity. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred. A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence and satisfactory Criminal Record Check are required.

This is an Excluded position and a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package is included.
