Job Summary

The City of Nanaimo is seeking 3 temporary part-time Facility Attendants. Under the supervision of the Arenas Manager, the Facility Attendant performs clean-up work and assisting with the set up and take down of equipment for special events and related duties.

Applicants must have completed Grade 9 and have a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a unionized position. $18.73 (Jan 2022 Rate). Hours of work will be 0 – 20 hours per week. Shift work will be involved (including evenings and weekends). It is anticipated that these vacancies will be up to 8 months in duration.
