Job Summary

Custodians maintain and clean buildings and are responsible for cleanliness of grounds, carrying out minor repairs, maintaining building security, assisting the public in the use of departmental facilities and performing other related duties.

Duties and Responsibilities


Applicants must have Grade 12 and successful completion of a Building Service Worker - Level 1 course and three months’ related experience. Possession of a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence is required.

Compensation and Benefits

These are unionized positions, starting at $27.26 per hour. There are no guaranteed hours associated with these positions. Extensive weekend and evening work will be involved.
