Job Summary

The City of Nanaimo Police Support Services Department is seeking casual Police Information Clerks. Applicants must possess a current RCMP enhanced security clearance. There are no guaranteed minimum hours associated with this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Requirements

The Police Information Clerk processes documents and provides police information and interpretations relating to Provincial and Federal Statutes, Regulations, and Municipal Bylaws, to other police agencies and the public. Applicants must have completed grade 12 and have a minimum of two years’ recent police experience. 

Compensation and Benefits

This is a unionized position starting at $30.38 per hour and evening shifts will be involved.
