Environmental Staffing
A recommendation will be going to Council to have Staff prepare a business case for a new position focused around coordination of the Environmental Sustainability Action Plan.

Unitarian Emergency Shelter Funding
A recommendation will be going to Council for $20,000 to be allocated to the First Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo for extended hours at the Unitarian Shelter, which will help provide additional programming, services and supports until March 31, 2020.

Community Program Development Grant
A previous motion was rescinded and an updated motion made recommending that Council approve a $2,850 grant to the Mid-Island Youth and Community Development Cooperative to assist in funding the Nanaimo Earth Day Social Enterprise Start-up.

911 Funding
A recommendation will be going to Council to approve the 911 Firewall upgrade, with $30,000 in funds to be allocated for the upgrade.

Green Fleet Strategy
A recommendation will be going to Council for Staff to join the E3 Fleet program and complete the Green Fleet Performance Review in 2019.

Flood Risk Assessment, Mapping and Mitigation
A recommendation will be going to Council to add $100,000 to the 2019 budget and $200,000 to 2020 for the South Fork and Jump Creek Dams Inundation Mapping Study.
