Health and Housing Task Force – September 16, 2020

BC Housing Navigation Centre
The Health and Housing Task Force discussed BC Housing’s funded navigation centres that help people who are experiencing long-term homelessness.

It was moved and seconded that the City of Nanaimo collaboratively through the Health and Housing Task Force and Economic Development Task Force explore an arms-length organization that includes economic development and social development planning coordination.

A recommendation will be going to Council to extend the mandate of the Health and Housing Task Force to November 30, 2020.
