Community Sustainability Action Plan
The Community Sustainability Action Plan implements the direction of the Official Community Plan to address climate change and ensure a sustainable Nanaimo for future generations.
The plan provides a framework for action to achieve greenhouse gas reduction targets in Nanaimo and contains strategies and actions in the areas of:
- Land Use & Transportation
- Buildings
- Energy Systems
- Solid Waste
