CLUES:

1.

Deck the halls with boughs of Holly. Fa la la la la la la la la!

Tis the season to be jolly. Fa la la la la la la la la!

Greeting walkers and cyclists as you wander along,

This well known trail just singing this song.
2.

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,

Only a block or so away,

And even though it’s winter,

This park is still a great place to play!
3.

Turkey stuffing and cranberry jelly,

this time of year just fills up your belly.

Needing to move, with our tummies so full

Down to this park to shoot hoops, grab a friend let’s go!
4.

Starlight, starbright.

The first star we see tonight.

Guide us safely along this Trail

Fresh air fills our lungs as we deeply inhale.
5.

This songbird catches the worm on a rainy day.

A game of ball, you’ll head to this park to play.

It shares the name of our feathery friend.

Search high and low, or perhaps around a bend.
6.

It might be too cold for a play in this park,

But perhaps a game of tennis before it gets dark.

Find the sticker, then grab a hot drink from this local café

Steps from the ocean and this well known Bay.
7.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,

Jingle down this road just a smidge.

Stop to take a break to play,

Upon this “stoney” ridge.
8.

A Christmas tradition of ours is a movie with friends.

The Galaxy or Avalon so many movies to choose.

But hunting for the frosty bucket is the plan for this weekend.

Find you next park location with this bolded word as your clue.
9.

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree…

but be sure to watch your step.

The view from atop this local mountain,

Of the rising sun on the ocean does reflect.
10.

With winter arriving  up here in the north,

Making travel plans these days is not so straight forth.

But folks still dream of southern places to fly,

Like Malibu and Mexico, and places warm and dry.
11.

Out in the Country, and over the Hills,

A sleigh packed full of Xmas wishes, Santa fulfills.

This park he flies over, is one of a kind.

Searching the perimeter here, the sticker you’ll find.
12.

Another name for an ice field or possibly a slippery slope.

Follow this “named” road down the hill, not too slippery we hope,

To a neighbourhood park with fun for all to play,

On the field or the playground you could stay all day.
