Recharge at City Locations
The City of Nanaimo has installed charging stations at six locations around town. Recharge your electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) while you swim, skate, play tennis, walk on the waterfront or visit downtown. Fast forward to the future, and as more zero emission electric
vehicles are produced, there'll be even more of these plug and play options.
The City of Nanaimo uses ChargePoint for it's six outdoor, publicly accessible charging stations (level 2 - 240 volt):
Oliver Woods Community Centre
Bowen Park (near the tennis Courts)
Maffeo Sutton Park
Merle Logan Field
Nanaimo City Hall
Two more City of Nanaimo EV charging stations (level 2 - 240 volt) can be found in the City of Nanaimo's downtown parkades. Usual pay parking rates apply at our parkade locations.
