Nanaimo Homelessness Coalition
The Nanaimo Homelessness Coalition is made up of non-profit societies, representatives from the three levels of government, faith groups and community members who have an interest in developing and carrying out solutions to homelessness.
They make recommendations to the Community Entity (United Way of Central Vancouver Island) about funding provided by the federal government to Nanaimo under the Homeless Partnering Strategy. They also coordinate services to the homeless, conduct research
and collect data relevant to this issue.
