Police services for the City of Nanaimo is provided under contract by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).  

About Nanaimo RCMP

Nanaimo RCMP is the largest detachment on the island, and is led by Superintendent Cameron Miller, its Officer in Charge.
