Fire Prevention Week October 3-9 Graphic

This year, Fire Prevention Week™ runs from October 3 to 9 and the theme is "Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety". Knowing the different sounds smoke and carbon monoxide alarms make and knowing what to do when an alarm sounds will keep you and your family safe. It's important that when an alarm makes noises – a beeping sound or a chirping sound – you take action. Learn more about Fire Prevention Week in partnership with the National Fire Protection Association.

Take a moment to watch this Fire Safety House video with your kids so they can recognize the sights and sounds of a smoke alarm and breathing apparatus worn by fire fighters.
