Description

A multi-purpose paved trail perfect for walking, jogging, roller blading, cycling, skateboarding and wheelchairs, the E & N Trail is one of the most popular trails in Nanaimo. It stretches over 8 kilometres from Rosehill Avenue in the south to Dunstar Road the north. Not only does this trail connect to Nanaimo's scenic waterfront, but it also provides great connection points to schools and shopping and is used extensively for both recreational and commuting purposes. Recently the East Wellington section was expanded via Dunstar Road linking the E&N Trail to the Parkway Trail. This loop is a great way to travel the City by trail!

The trail is a result of a partnership with Rail America for use of the land adjacent to the railroad tracks. There are plans to expand the length of this trail in the long term.
