Description

Brookwood Park is located in the Sunshine Ridge subdivison in north Nanaimo. The park includes a playground with elements for children 2-6 and another collection of equipment for older children. The playground equipment was installed through the VIP Program in 2005. The park is fenced and has several benches.

You can make the visit to the playground a good outting by looking for for nesting ducks as you walk the gravel loop trail around the pond behind the playground.
