Work begins on multipurpose court in Harewood Centennial Park

A ground breaking ceremony was held in Harewood Centennial Park on Wednesday, July 26 to celebrate the work set to begin on a new multipurpose court and replacement of the existing lacrosse box. These two projects are the next phase of work to get underway as part of the multiphase Harewood Centennial Park Improvement Plan.

Getting to the point of construction has been a collaborative process consisting of a working group led by a member of Council, the Harewood Neighbourhood Association, City staff, local consultants, contractors, engineers and user groups.

This phase is scheduled to be complete by end of October/mid November 2017.
