Nelson Road to be closed at Rutherford

Intersection upgrade continues through summer

Summary

Starting Monday July 10, Nelson Road will be closed at Rutherford Road to allow construction to continue on the new roundabout intersection and connector road into Linley Valley West.

During the work two way traffic along Rutherford Road will be maintained when possible. Traffic patterns will change again in early August as vehicles are moved over to the east side, through the new roundabout lanes, to allow crews to construct the west side of the roundabout.

Access for local residents along Nelson will be unaffected and available from Turner Road, with all businesses in the area open regular working hours.

Construction timing coincides with summer break for Randerson Ridge Elementary students, parents, and staff.
