Celebrate Wild Foods and Earth Day in Bowen Park

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is partnering with Nanaimo Area Land Trust (NALT) to bring back the Wild Foods Festival and Earth Day celebrations for another year.

On Saturday, April 23, visit Bowen Park for a day of festivities centred around Nanaimo's local ecology and wild foods that occur in the area. Activities and attractions include a WildFoods Plant ID walk, cooking demos, a presentation by FarmFolk/CityFolk, live music by local musicians, wild food samples, community info booths and a local food and crafts market.
