Families encouraged to have fun this January

Summary

As a build up to BC Family Day, the City of Nanaimo has launched the Family Fun Challenge. This initative consists of a variety of activities meant to get families playing together during the wet and chilly month of January.

Families that participate in the challenge are eligible to enter themselves into a draw to win a Family Fun Pack sponsored by TD. Family Fun Challenge forms are available to pick up at City recreation centres.

Key Points

  • The Family Fun Challenge runs until Friday, February 5.
  • Once an activity is completed, families may fill out their contact information on the back of the activity labelled on the Family Fun Challenge form and drop off at Beban Park Pool or Nanaimo Aquatic Centre by February 5 for a chance to win the Family Fun Pack sponsored by TD Canada Trust.
  • A draw for the Family Fun Pack will take place on Sunday, February 7 during the Family Play Day in Oliver Woods Community Centre.
