The City is excited to announce the opening celebration of a Youth Lounge at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Stop by and check out the youth lounge and enjoy free pizza and awesome activities. The youth lounge is a joint partnership between Vancouver Island University, The Boys & Girls Club of Central Vancouver Island, RCMP and the City of Nanaimo.

This program offers a variety of activities such as: air hockey, Foosball, video games access to community resources and much more. The lounge will provide Nanaimo's youth with a safe, fun and supervised place to hang out and make their own.
