Delays expected along Northfield Road between Bowen Road and Parkway

Motorist advised to plan alternative routes

Summary

Motorists travelling along Northfield Road between Bowen Road and the Nanaimo Parkway are advised to plan ahead. Rock blasting associated with the construction of a new Mid Island Co-op Card Lock gas bar is scheduled to occur between July 23rd to August 14th at the southwest corner of Northfield and Boxwood Roads. For worker and general public safety, short duration closures of Northfield Road are required while the blasting work is underway.
