Tickets are still available for the 2015 Culture & Heritage Awards Ceremony to be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm). Celebrate the best of Nanaimo’s culture and heritage while enjoying a night of free entertainment at the Port Theatre.

This year’s ceremony will be MC’d by Bruce Williams (CTV Vancouver Island), and will begin with a welcoming from Mayor McKay, a prayer by The Foot Prints of The Wolf, and a poetry reading by Nanaimo’s Poet Laureate. Entertainment will be provided by Sylvia Knapp’s Tempo Dance Academy; VIBE Studio; Crimson Coast’s Holly Bright & Genevieve Johnson; singers by Grace Bleaney & Emma Hooton; and Mourning Dove.
