City accepting grant applications for Cultural Operating / Events & Festivals

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is now accepting applications from community organizations needing financial assistance to support their cultural organization or events. Two grants are available to local non-profit organizations: a Cultural Operating Grant and a Cultural Festivals & Events Grant.

As well, they support the 2014-2020 Cultural Plan for a Creative Nanaimo's strategy to support ongoing and stable core funding to non-profit arts and cultural organizations to enable them to leverage funding from other sources.
