Nanaimo's Water parks "drying up" for the season

Summary

As the cooler weather rolls in, Parks staff prepare for fall. On the to do list is to tidy up and shut off the water to the City's water parks until next summer. Based on weather forecasts and the current temperature, the water/splash parks located in Departure Bay Centennial, Deverill Square and Mansfield Park were shut off this morning.

City of Nanaimo Parks and Recreation hopes everyone enjoyed a wonderful summer and had the opportunity to visit one or more of the water parks and splash park. This fall and winter take a moment to enjoy some water fun at Beban Pool and the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre. For more information on swim sessions, check the Public Schedules page on the City website.
