Residents and businesses reminded to keep signs off utility poles and trees

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is reminding everyone that placing signs on utility wires, poles, supports, trees or other living vegetation is not allowed. A bylaw has been set in place to regulate the number, size, type, form, appearance, and location of signs within the City

Further information regarding signs may be obtained from the City of Nanaimo Current Planning and Subdivision Section by calling 250-755-4429. To report a possible illegal sign, please contact Bylaw Services between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm at 250-755-4422 or bylaw.info@nanaimo.ca.
