Blast into 2018 with Finale

The City of Nanaimo is pleased to once again host its annual premier family New Year's celebration, Finale, on December 31 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm in Beban Park. This year's intergalactic theme, Space Jam, will include live entertainment, swimming, skating, face painting, crafts, food vendors and more!

Live entertainment will feature music by Ian Johnstone and children's entertainment by The Purple Pirate and Clever Trever. The Nanaimo Clippers will also be on hand from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to skate and play hockey with. Recreation Coordinator, Ashley Rowe says "we will host two countdowns so kids of all ages will get the opportunity to blast off into the new year." The first countdown will take place at 8:00 pm and the second at 10:00 pm.

Tickets are $10 per person or $32 for a family of five; children two years and under will receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased at Beban Park Box Office. Don't miss this interstellar family fun night, it will be out of this world!
