Brechin Hill Update:
Drake Street: Completed
The City of Nanaimo will be moving forward with the installation of speed humps on Drake Street.
The number of humps and their placement will be determined during the design process. We are currently estimating that construction will take about two weeks and will occur sometime before the summer of 2010 dependent on weather and work crew availability.
Stop Sign Reversals: Completed
The Chestnut Street / Brierly Hill intersection has been successfully reversed. The remaining warning signs are scheduled to be removed by the end of the month. The reversal of the remaining intersections will begin in the next two to three weeks.
